De Soto Multi-Service Center to have limited hours

With director Jodi Hitchcock on medical leave, the De Soto Multi-Service Center will have limited hours.
Volunteer Frances Lawhead and the De Soto United Church Women will keep the center’s food pantry open with hours of 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays and 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursdays. The clothes closet will remain open its regular times.
Social workers from other county centers will be at the De Soto center on a limited basis. To make a required appointment to see a visiting social worker, call 583-1152.
Those in need of immediate service should call either the Gardner Multi-Service Center at (913) 856-7405 or the Spring Hill Multi-Service Center at (913) 592-2304.
