Five Wildcats named to All-League soccer team
The De Soto soccer team had several players earn postseason honors this year.
Players receiving first-team All-League honors were Duncan Henderson and Octavio Villa. Second-team honors went to Sammy Seibolt, Jordan Riffel and Tyler Buffkin.
All-Region soccer teams announced
Three De Soto Wildcats earned all-region honors.
Players on the first-team All-Region team were Duncan Henderson, Octavio Villa, Sammy Seibolt and Tyler Buffkin.
Two Wildcats named to All-League volleyball team
Two De Soto Wildcats have been named to this year’s All-League volleyball team.
Earning spots on the honorable mention team were Becca Maasen and Tami Crow.
DHS football banquet set for Sunday
The annual De Soto High school football dinner and awards banquet will from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the commons area at the high school. All De Soto players and their families are invited to attend.
Meats will be provided by the team and side dishes will be provided by the families.
