Those on the sick list of which I'm aware are Bobbie Robinson, who has been a resident at Hillside Village from many years and is now in the ICU at Olathe Medical Center with kidney problems. She hopes to return to Hillside Village this next week. Her sister-in-law Leona Robinson visits her everyday. A.C. Haulmark is now home after surgery and a hospital and rehabilitation stay. Vicki Haulmark's mother needs our prayers, as does Jean Epperson's great nephew. The Rev. Richard Copeland was on the sick list this last week with an illness. He was unable to talk Sunday except in a whisper.

I wish to thank everyone for their prayers for my oldest son Carlin of Illinois. He had a heart attack at a store and passed out. He was given CPR by the store's pharmacist. He is now at home recovering after a week in the hospital. He had by-pass surgery in 1995.

Vicki Haulmark wrote a thank-you note for all the prayers for her husband A.C. Haulmark.

My great grandson Hayden celebrated his 16th birthday Saturday on the farm at Rantoul with his grandparents Debbie and Paul and his friend Derrick Schutte. They went fishing. Hayden only caught a small fish and Derrick caught a big cat fish and large crappie. Debbie made his favorite meal and small chocolate cakes for everyone. I got one on Sunday.

My son Jerry, who does many things for me, is on a cruise with his wife, Linda. They will have dinner with Bub and LaDonna Schmidt while on vacation.
