- The house is quiet again.
The grandchildren, and their parents, left a week ago. The house was a flurry of activity during their visit, timed each year to coincide with our granddaughter’s birthday.

- The De Soto United Methodist Church Youth are had a clothing donation drive Wednesday for the annual Bishop Roundup for Hunger. They asked for gently used and clean clothing and also bedding. The youngsters will sort and box the items for donation Nov. 14.
