Accident cleared; I-35 reopened at 175th

The Kansas Department of Transportation said all lanes of southbound Interstate 35 at 175th Street in southern Johnson County were reopened about 1:45 p.m. today after a major traffic accident this morning.

Traffic was being detoured onto 175th Street for nearly three hours.

KDOT had warned drivers using I-35 in that area to expect major delays and had advised to find alternate routes.
