The Fresh Promises Farmers’ Market will open for the season July 1 at Zimmerman’s Kill Creek Farm, 9210 Kill Creek Rd. The market, which offers only locally grown or produced fresh items, will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday through the growing season. For more information, call Darrel Zimmerman at (913) 209-4446.
