De Soto students excel at Kansas State University
De Soto High School graduates Aaron Duerksen and Casey Johnson were among the 1,700 Kansas State University students to receive semester honors for academic performance for the 2009 spring semester. To earn the recognition, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and be in the top-10 percent of their class.
In addition, Cameon Childers graduated cum laude with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. To earn the cum laude designation, a student must have a grade-point average of 3.75 to 3.848.
