The 2009 Johnson County Fair kicked off Monday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Gardner with a theme that’s a play on a popular television competition. The opening day of the “Dancing with the Steers” fair was rife with 4-H members showing off crafts, food, animals and big grins.
