Randy Johnson, Janine Gracy and Tammy Thomas win seats
Unofficial results from Tuesday's election show two incumbents and one new face were elected to the De Soto USD 232 Board of Education.
Tammy Thomas beat Position 6 incumbent Larry Meyer with 50.92 percent of the vote. Meyer secured 39.56 percent, while Tim Needham had 9.52 percent.
Position 4 incumbent Randy Johnson had a narrow four-vote advantage over Roger Templin for a place on the board. Johnson received 38.57 percent of the vote compared to Templin's 38.40 percent. Margaret Johnson received 22.99 percent of the votes for Position 4.
In the Position 5 race incumbent Janine Gracy secured 57.29 percent of the vote over Kevin Straub's 42.63 percent.
