Johnson County seek volunteers for boards
The Johnson County Commission is accepting applications from residents who would like to be considered to serve on one or more of seven advisory boards of county government.
The Board of Zoning Appeals has vacant seats involving representatives from the 6th District to be named by Commissioner John Toplikar.
Vacant seats on the Housing and Community Development Committee will be filled with a representative of the homeless community by Chairman Annabeth Surbaugh.
The other vacancies include:
¢ 6th District representative to the Library Board with the appointment being made by Commissioner Toplikar;
¢ Chairman's representative of a building code official to the Contractors Licensing Review Board and representative of a firefighter/emergency medical technician to the Board of Code Review; and,
¢ Commissioner Toplikar's 6th District representative to the Developmental Supports Governing Board.
