The Kansas Volleyball Association has announced its state rankings for week two of the 2008 season.

CLASS 6A

1. Washburn Rural (5-1)

2. Blue Valley West (4-3)

3. Manhattan (7-1)

4. Goddard (12-1)

5. Lawrence Free State (7-2)

Receiving votes: Derby (7-2), Shawnee Mission West (8-2).

CLASS 5A

1. St. Thomas Aquinas (7-2)

2. Bishop Miege (6-2)

3. Lansing (8-0)

4. Topeka Seaman (6-1)

5. Shawnee Heights (5-1)

Receiving votes: Great Bend (5-0), Newton (8-1), Salina South (9-3).

CLASS 4A

1. St. James Academy (10-0)

2. Topeka Hayden (7-1)

3. Clearwater (2-0)

4. Girard (7-0)

5. Jefferson West (9-0)

Receiving votes: Tonganoxie (2-0), Concordia (7-1), Colby (4-0).

Probably a lot less. We’re probably going to a big show and get a few things to make our grandson go oh.
