Johnson County 4-H Horse Club celebrates Halloween

October 15, 2008

The Johnson County 4-H Horse Club had its annual Halloween Party Oct. 8t. The party was fun filled with games and more. There was a fantastic hay ride with horses and Halloween decorations to see.

The Fangman family of De Soto hosted the event at the family farm.

At the party, the 4-Her’s played “what’s in the bag?” and had a pumpkin carving contest. The winner of the pumpkin carving contest was 11 -year-old Grace Freeman. The winner of the guessing game was 8-year-old Brynn McCracken.

For dinner, the 4-Her’s cooked hot dogs over a bonfire then made smores for dessert.
