Girls golf team gets first win

The De Soto girls golf team has competed in three varsity tournaments so far this year and have two second place finishes and one first place finish.
Ashley Sweeney, a senior at DHS, won the individual title and sophomore Emma Tinsley placed fifth.
In conjunction with Mill Valley, it is the first year for the girls golf program and there are currently nine students participating in the sport.
