DHS students offer poker night fundraiser

De Soto High School students in the freshman Integrated honors class will have a poker night fundraiser to benefit The Foundation for West Africa.
The event will be from 6 to 10 p.m. May 16 at the De Soto Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6654, 33725 W. 84th St.
A $10-$20 donation is recommended for a ticket. It will cost $10 to buy back in.
Thirty percent of proceeds go to the top three players and the rest will go to charity.
The Foundation for West Africa benefits children and families in desperate need of help.
