DHS journalism places 3rd at state

Two De Soto High School students received three awards at the Kansas Scholastic Press Association journalism contest Saturday.
Jhasmine Roddick placed first in feature writing and second in editing. Savannah Rawie took second in advertising. The points gave De Soto High a third-place overall finish in the 4A school category.
