De Soto to discuss facility needs
The De Soto USD 232 Board of Education will have a special meeting Monday to discuss facility issues and non-elected personnel.
The board March 3 approved to use $91,000 in capital outlay funds to ease growing pains at Mill Valley High School. The board will further discuss facility needs at its special meeting and may decide to use capital outlay dollars for other building expansions.
Operations director Jack Deyoe said the elementary schools most in need of building expansions were Starside and Clear Creek, followed by Riverview and finally Mize.
The special meeting will be at 5 p.m. Monday at the District Administrative Center, 35200 W. 91st St., De Soto.
