Cats tie one, win one Monday at 7-on-7
Junior-to-be Logan Clark prepares to let loose of a pass in 7-on-7 passing league Monday. De Soto tied with Piper, 1-1, before beating Shawnee Mission North, 4-2. Clark is one of three Wildcat quarterback candidates.

Using good performances by two of De Soto's most talented football players, the Wildcats tied Piper, 1-1, before beating Shawnee Mission North, 4-2, Monday in 7-on-7 passing league games.
Dylan Burford and Jamel Townsend both scored twice for De Soto on the offensive end while anchoring a pass defense that scored a touchdown of its own against Shawnee Mission North.
