Another dark adventure in Montana involving attorney and "hero of the people," Billy Bob Holland.
As in most of Burke's books, global issues are involved. This time it is land preservation and the rights of Native Americans. Billy Bob's friend, Johnny American Horse, has been charged with the murder of two mysterious men. Corrupt law enforcement officers and western-style organized crime add to the drama.
Burke writes page-turners, and this is another effort that will keep you under the reading lamp.
