Natural Girl
By Carl Hiaasen
Fiction (2007)
A beach read with a belly laugh would best describe this fun tale set in the Everglades.
Three incongruous sets of people and stories converge in a hilarious and improbable situation. Rather than inhibit the story, two deaths only add to an already complicated comedy of errors.
Hiaasen's writing is clever, and the reader who doesn't laugh out loud at the nuance and ridiculous events is a truly sad case.

Point of View
Will you be buying more or fewer fireworks this year?
Probably a lot less. We’re probably going to a big show and get a few things to make our grandson go oh.
