Thursday, December 4

No. 1 meat loaf or No. 2 oven-fried chicken with baked potato, country blend vegetables, wheat bread and plums.

Friday, December 5

No. 1 baked fish with tartar sauce or No. 2 beef cutlet with gravy, wild rice, orange-glazed carrots, rye bread, vanilla pudding*.

Monday, December 8

No. 1 pork patty or No. 2 smothered steak, scalloped potatoes, herbed seasoned spinach, wheat bread and pineapple chunks.

Tuesday, December 9

No. 1 beef stew or No. 2 chicken potpie with chuckwagon blend, cornbread, citrus salad.

Wednesday, December 10

Birthday day

No. 1 over-fried chicken or No. 2 roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, dinner roll, cake and ice cream*.

Thursday, December 11

No. 1 Polish sausage or No. 2 meatball sandwich, new potatoes, braised cabbage, bun and hot-spiced apples.

Friday, December 12

Holiday lunch

No. 1 roast turkey with gravy or No. 2 baked ham slice with cherry sauce, dressing, green beans with red pepper, cranberry fluff, dinner roll, pumpkin pie*.

* Diabetic substitute

Milk and bread are served daily. Menu are subject to change.

To be eligible for Johnson County home delivered meals, a person must be homebound and older than 60 years of age. Cost is by donation only. The suggested donation/contribution is $2.50 a meal, however no one is refused service because of inability to pay. Reservations and cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
