Firefighters battle house fire in Eudora

Firefighters were on the scene Tuesday evening of a fire at a home at 927 Maple in Eudora.

Fire officials were called to the home shortly after 4:30 p.m.

According to Eudora Police Chief Greg Dahlem, the fire originated in the kitchen area and spread from there. Extent of the damage was unkown shortly before 6 p.m.

The four people lived in the home were not there at the time and no one was injured.
