Obituary: Eddie L. Cannedy
Services for Eddie Lee Cannedy, 60, Clearview City, were Thursday, Nov. 1, at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner. Burial was in De Soto Cemetery.
Mr. Cannedy died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 18, 1947, in Okmulgee, Okla., the son of Addron Hale and Irene Mozella Marchman Cannedy. He grew up in Kansas City, Kan., and spent the last 20 years in Clearview City.
Mr. Cannedy was a pinsetter for King Louie in Shawnee. He was a member of Full Faith Church of Love in Lenexa, Alcoholics Anonymous and the Western Cherokee Nation, Arkansas, Mo.
He married Peggy Cook on Dec. 5, 1980 in Kansas City, Kan. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Patricia Chaline, Lee's Summit, Mo., and Lorie Cannedy and Jamie Dinneen, both of Olathe; two sons, Chase Cannedy, Olathe, and Jimmy Bo Ramsey, Kansas City, Kan.; five brothers, Adrian Cannedy and Dean Cannedy, both of Kansas City, Kan., Myrlin Cannedy, Platte City, Mo., Thurman Cannedy, Cadillac, Mich., Dennis Robertson, Edwardsville; a sister, Cathy Bias, Tonganoxie; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
