Treva M. Hill

Funeral services for Treva M. Hill, 92, Overland Park, were Tuesday, May 22, at De Soto Baptist Church. Burial was at De Soto Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill died Saturday, May 19, 2007, at Garden Terrace Nursing Home in Overland Park.
She was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Vona, Colo., the daughter of Floyd Ellis and Iona Ada Stafford Snyder. She grew up in Harwood, Mo., where she graduated from high school. She attended nursing school in Fort Scott. She moved to De Soto in 1951.
Mrs. Hill was a registered nurse for Sunflower Ordnance Works and also worked at Kansas University Medical Center. She was a co-owner of the De Soto Parts Store with her husband in the 1960s and 1970s.
Mrs. Hill was a member of De Soto Baptist Church.
She married Glenn E. Hill July 31, 1937, in Butler, Mo. He died in 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Ed Hill, Overland Park, and Bob Hill, De Soto; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by six siblings, Carl Snyder, Emel Snyder, Elmon Snyder, Averd Snyder, Leola Summy and Clarice Hines.
