11 De Soto students graduating from KU

Eleven students from De Soto are among 6,400 students, including 2,125 who completed degree work in summer and fall 2006, who will receive degrees at Kansas University's spring 2007 commencement.

Faculty and candidates for degrees will assemble about 2 p.m. along Memorial Drive for the procession, which begins at 2:30 p.m. The program begins about 3:30 p.m.

De Soto students who earned degrees were Jessica Christenberry, bachelor of general studies/anthropology; Brian Knapp, bachelor of science in clinical laboratory; Jacob Miller, bachelor of science in business/accounting; Patrick Brown, master of science/engineering management; Christy Jansen, doctor of medicine; Jacqueline Clark, bachelor of social work; James Ingram, bachelor of arts/Latin America; McKenzie King, bachelor of science in business/management; Kelly Kramer, bachelor of science in education; Ramsey Hagan, bachelor of science in civil engineering; and Antoinette Marquez, bachelor of science in business/accounting.

In case of inclement weather, participants should call KU Info, (785) 864-3506, or listen to local radio and television stations to learn the exact time of the commencement ceremony.
