Obituary: Bonnie L. Redick
Funeral services for Bonnie L. Redick, 81, Lawrence, were Monday, April 23, at De Soto Baptist Church. Burial was in Silent City Cemetery in De Soto.
Mrs. Redick died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at her home.
She was born March 9, 1926, in Deepwater, Mo., the daughter of Archie and Roxie Thompson Bedford. She lived in De Soto for more than 40 years and recently moved to Lawrence.
Mrs. Redick worked as an administrative assistant for King Radio, the Olathe Courthouse and Hercules Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant. She was a member of De Soto Baptist Church and De Soto Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
She married Robert Redick on June 1, 1970. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Gloria Wycoff; two stepdaughters, Sue Farrell and Cheryl Redick; six brothers and sisters; three grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren.
A son, Robert "Bobby" Pinkston; two stepsons, Johnnie Redick and Robert Redick Jr.; and a sister, Maxine McMillan, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorials in her name to Hospice of Kansas and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary/Eudora Chapel, 1003 John L. Williams Drive, Eudora 66025.
