Victor I. Keeney
Memorial services for Victor I. Keeney, 60, Smithville, Mo., were Tuesday, April 10, at North Cross United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Mo. Burial will be at a later date in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Mr. Keeney was born Aug. 5, 1946, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of James and Rebecca Keeney. He grew up in Shawnee and graduated from Shawnee Mission High School.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a printer for Hallmark Cards Inc. for 37 years.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Keeney of the home; two sons, Nicholas Keeney and Clinton "CJ" Keeney, both of the home; his parents, James and Rebecca Keeney, De Soto; a brother, Jim Keeney, Paso Robles, Calif.; brother-in-law, Dale Mercer, Lee's Summit, Mo.; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Redding, Tonganoxie.
The family suggests memorials to Habitat for Humanity or the Make A Wish Foundation, sent in care of the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 Northeast Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64119.
