Community classes

Kaw Prairie Community Church's next Exploring Membership Class "Why Membership Matters in a Dismembered Culture, Part One" will be from 11 a.m. to noon Sunday
The second part of the class will be from 11 a.m. to noon Oct. 1.
The course is open to any interested community member or worshipper.
Classes will take place at St. James Academy, 95th and Clare, in Lenexa.
Free childcare will be provided.

"Alpha" a non-denominational 10-week course covering the basics of Christianity, will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays at St. James Academy, 95th and Clare, Lenexa.
Childcare will be provided for infants through middle school students.
Each meeting will begin with a free will donation dinner followed by a DVD presentation and small group discussion.
