Memorial services for Paul Burns, 69, Wichita, are pending. He was cremated.
Mr. Burns died Monday, Oct. 9, in Wichita.
He was born Aug. 7, 1937, in Portland, Ore., the son of Lloyd and Elsie Burns.
Mr. Burns graduated from Lawrence High School and attended Wichita State University.
He was a spotter for two television stations in Wichita, and he tuned pianos and caned chairs. He retired in 2004.
Survivors include his wife, Jane, of the home; a son, Robert Burns, of the home; his mother, Elsie Mathia, Eudora; two brothers, Robert Burns, Siloam Springs, Ark., and Don Burns, Early, Iowa; two sisters, Betty Mason, Eudora, and LaDonna Schmidt, De Soto; two half-brothers, Leon Burns, Santa Fe, Texas, and Larry Burns, Lincoln, Neb.; and two half-sisters, Denise Bonge, Lincoln, Neb., and Jan Tiffany, York, Neb.
His father, Lloyd Burns, preceded him in death.
