Obituary — Floyd E. Yeager
Services for Floyd Eugene Yeager, 84, Olathe, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Village Church in Clearview City, rural De Soto. Burial with military honors will be at Leavenworth Cemetery.
Mr. Yeager died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at Hillside Village in De Soto.
He was born Aug. 5, 1922, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Fred and Mabel Luger Yeager.
He married Orpha Barron on Aug. 18, 1951, in DuQuoin, Ill. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son Floyd Harvey Yeager, Meridan; three daughters, Darlene Hammons, Gladstone, Mo., Sherry Miller, De Soto, and Kimberly Teffer, Olathe; two brothers, Pete YEager and Fred Yeager, both of Louisburg; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
