Light elected to board

Baker University School of Nursing assistant professor Cindy Light, De Soto, has been elected to the Kansas State Nurses Association's Board of Directors. Her term will end in 2009.
Light received an associate's degree from Neosho County Community College, a bachelor's of science in nursing degree from Emporia State and a master's of science in nursing degree from the University of Missouri.
An active member of the nurses association in District 2, De Soto, Light has served at the state level as an elected member and past chair of the Council on Economic and General Welfare. She is past and current chair of the Day at the Legislature Committee. She also serves on the editorial board of the Kansas Nurse publication.
Baker's School of Nursing is in Topeka.
