Funeral services for Myron E. McCall, 90, Kansas City, Mo., were Tuesday, May 22, at Dengel and Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona.
Mr. McCall died Friday, May 19, 2006, at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 28, 1915, in Wellsville, the son of William Keeling and Phoebe Evans McCall. He graduated from Ottawa High School in 1935.
Mr. McCall worked at Keppel Farm of Ottawa, Red Logan's Electric of Garnett and the Sunflower Army Ammunition plants in Radcliffe, Va., and De Soto.
He also owned and operated McCall's Electric Motor Service in Ottawa until he retired in 1993, when he moved to Kansas City, Mo. He was a projectionist at drive-in theaters in Ottawa and a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows of Ottawa.
He married Maxine Slavens on April 21, 1940, in Waterville. She died Nov. 25, 1993.
Survivors include a son, John McCall, Ottawa; five daughters, Rosita Criqui, Marilyn Sutton, Sylvia Hill and Lynda Campbell, all of Ottawa, and Myra Fogarty, Kansas City, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A granddaughter also died earlier.
The family suggests memorials to the National Parkinson Foundation, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S Hickory St., Ottawa 66067.
