DHS booster club to provide schedules

The De Soto High School booster club is putting together the first official calendar to support the school. Booster club president Tim McNamara said the new calendar would be free and paid entirely through advertising. He said the club was tired of watching independent companies sell advertising and make a profit without much benefit to the school.

Diamonds polishing for final show

The De Soto High School Diamonds are working hard on this year’s spring show. The dance team took over the Lexington Trails Middle School auditorium this week as it began practice for its third annual show, which will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at the middle school. The show is intended as a fund-raiser and special community event for the team. Tickets for the event are $5 and desserts cost $1.
