Special Olympics golf tourney July 27

Spaces are still available for participation in the ninth annual Special Olympics Golf Classic July 27 at the Prairie Highlands Golf Course, 14695 S. Inverness St., Olathe.
Tournament play will start at 2 p.m. Officials expect it to take four to five hours for all players to complete the course. The tournament will include lunch, unlimited beverages, golf cart rental, greens fees and an awards ceremony. There will also be drawings for great prizes, including two airline tickets to anywhere in the continental United States.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the JCPRD's Rangers Special Olympics team.
Participation in the tournament is by both individuals and corporate teams. Players may register for $125, a portion of which may be tax-deductible.
Corporate sponsorships are also available at the $650, $1,000 and $5,000 levels.
