In recent weeks, the De Soto USD 232 Board of Education has started a review of its policy on school sizes. All nine of the district’s schools were built to conform with current board policy limiting elementary school sizes to 500 students, middle schools to an enrollment of 750 and high schools at 1,000. The same is true of the middle school now going up on Mize Road.
