Lawson, Englehart exchange vows
Amber Sue Lawson and Chad Ivan Englehart were married Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at Village Presbyterian Church of Prairie Village with the Rev. Diane Quaintance officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lawson. The groom is the son of Mrs. and Mrs. Wayne Englehart and the late Brenda (Maniez) Englehart.
The bride's dress was satin, with a beaded trim around the top, bottom and following the covered buttons to the end of the four-foot train.
Katie (Lawson) Lee was the matron of honor. Dustin Englehart was the best man.
Andrea Chamblin was maid of honor and Cimmeron Reynolds was the bridesmaid. The bridesmaids were dressed in emperor style, Victorian lilac satin dresses.
Groomsmen were Matt Chancey and Mike Chancey. Fleet and Margie Chancey were readers.
Sidney Lee and Gracie Van Wegen were the flower girls. Jacob Lee was the ring bearer.
Guests were ushered by P.J. Angell and Chris Noone, Piper. Jimmy Lopez was soloist.
Nichole Zalles was candle lighter. Candles were lit for seven deceased family members.
Both the bride and groom graduated from Kansas State University, Manhattan, in 2000. The bride is continuing her studies at Rockhurst, Kansas City, Mo. The groom is working in advertising in Kansas City, Mo.
After a honeymoon cruise, the couple reside in De Soto.
