Services for Idah Pearl Campbell, 97, Tonganoxie, were Thursday, May 3, at United Methodist Church, Tonganoxie. Burial was in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Mrs. Campbell died Monday, April 30, 2001, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 7, 1904, in Horton, the daughter of Oscar E. and Zoa (Hathaway) Breyman. She graduated from Horton High School in 1923.

Mrs. Campbell worked in dry goods stores in Horton and Corning before moving to Sunflower Village and working at Sunflower Ordnance Plant, De Soto, during World War II. She moved to Tonganoxie in 1946, where she worked at Zoellner's Dry Goods Store until retiring in 1974.

She was a member of United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Florence Riford Senior Citizens, all of Tonganoxie.

She married Kenneth Reed Campbell on June 16, 1926 in Horton. He died Nov. 30, 1970.

Survivors include three daughters, Juanita Klinkenberg, Kansas City, Mo., Lola Campbell, Amityville, N.Y., and Marilyn Bundy, Tonganoxie; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Alzheimer's Association or Tonganoxie Nursing Center, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie 66086.
