Inurnment and graveside services for Howard "Keith" Dodson, 70, Clearview City, were Wednesday, June 27, at the Gardner Cemetery.
Mr. Dodson died Friday, June 22, 2001, at the Olathe Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 3, 1930, in Oskaloosa, the son of Howard R. Dodson and Jennie (Beals) Dodson. He was a lifelong area resident of Kansas City, Kan. and Olathe. He moved to Clearview City a year ago.
Mr. Dodson was a self-employed handyman in the Olathe and Kansas City areas. He was a truck driver for Schlitz Malt Liquor and also had worked for the Austin Purina Chicken Plant.
He was a graduate of Rosedale High School in the Argentine district of Kansas City, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force.
He married Norma E. Stump of Freeman, Mo. They later divorced.
A son, David Dodson, and a sister, Linda Draheim, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Gary Dodson, Olathe; two daughters, Pamela Johnston and Cindy O'Grady, both of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Ron Dodson, Pleasanton; a sister, Verna Vielbig, Olathe; and eight grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, was in charge of arrangements.
