Kelly Jo Twaddle, Olathe, and Mark Joseph Flannery, Overland Park, were married Saturday, March 3, 2001, in Breckenridge, Colo., with the Rev. Gretchen Abernathy officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Timm and Margo Twaddle, Olathe.

The groom is the son of Joseph and Janet Flannery, Overland Park. Both the bride and the groom are 2000 graduates of Kansas State University.

Jayma Beadle, Lawrence, was maid of honor. Jeff Flannery, Olathe, was best man.

The bride wore an elegant, sleeveless gown in pearl matte satin with empire waist detail, princess seams, a-line skirt, chapel length train and sheer organza beaded bodice accented with ivory and champagne embroidery. Her bridal veil was custom designed to compliment her gown.

The bride is a credit analyst for Utilicorp.

The groom is an electrical engineer at Sprint.

Following a honeymoon in Breckenridge, Colo., the couple is at home in Olathe.

An open house will be held locally to honor the couple, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 5, at the home of the bride's parents.
