Hear veterans of different ethnic backgrounds share their experiences. U. S. minority men played a big role in the World War II victory. More than 1.2 million African Americans, 350,000 Hispanic-Americans and other minorities were in uniform. This Positive Aging Coalition Program is offered in conjunction with the Veterans Day breakfast cosponsored with Johnson County Park & Recreation 50 Plus Program and the City of Overland Park. There will be a small fee for non-veterans wishing to eat breakfast. Registration is requested. Call (913) 642-6410 to register.
