Cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, lettuce and other assorted produce will soon be sprouting up in-front of Starside Elementary School.
Starside teachers, student and family members are teaming up to plant a community garden.
On April 10, the work will begin to construct six lasagna gardens, said Paula Henderson, school counselor.
Lasagna gardening is a no-dig, no-till organic gardening method that results in rich, fluffy soil with very little work.
