Learn more about cataracts and the most current management options, including multifocal intraocular lenses, in “Cataract Treatment Options,” presented by The University of Kansas Hospital’s Ann Stechschulte, MD. The program will be from noon-1 p.m., Oct. 6, at the KU MedWest community room, 7405 Renner Road, in Shawnee. Multifocal intraocular lenses replace the removed cataractous lens,
allowing for reading as well as distance vision without glasses. There is no charge for this valuable program. Registration is required by calling 913-588-1227 or visiting www.kumed.com/bewell.
