The Johnson County League of Women Voters and the Shawnee Mission Area Council of PTA will be hosting a Candidates' Forum for the individuals running for the position on the Kansas State Board of Education, District 2. The forum is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Shawnee Mission West High School, 8800 W. 85th St., Overland Park. The Johnson County League of Women Voters will provide the moderator and timekeeper for the evening. Each candidate will be allowed to present a 90-second opening statement. Each candidate will have 90 seconds to respond to every question asked in a rotating order. No closing statements will be given.

    Education is the first thing , without education man cannot be a man. So try to literate all of the people of your locality.
