Coker and Hawkins
Heather Coker and William Hawkins were married Oct.5, 2998. The wedding and following reception were at the Maxwell House Western Justice Center in Pasadena, Calif. The groom’s brother, The Rev. Matthew Pride Hawkins of Atlanta officiated.
The ceremony was followed by dinner on the courtyard terrace for the 125 guests and dancing to the Chamberlain Orchestra.
The bride wore a silk wedding grown accented with Swarovski crystal beading and carried a bouquet of calla lilies and roses.
The couple planned a honeymoon in the Fiji Islands.
The bride and groom are both graduates of the master’s degree film program a Chapman University of Orange, Calif. The will reside in Los Angeles. William is an associate producer of Avalon Family Entertainment, and Heather is a freelance filmmaker, choreographer and works part time at Warner Brothers Studio.
Heather is the granddaughter of Mrytle and the late Leon Coker of De Soto.
