Farmer_darrel: When and how can the De Soto city Web site be a reliable source of De Soto Planning Commission and City Council agenda?
Since Kim left the city back in 2007 we have suffered a little with maintaining the website. I think asking staff to make it a priority would be a way to start.
Not everyone has a computer and many seniors do not like it, so I think maybe a subscription effort where anyone can sign up for a copy of the print version should be offered.

I have shown the citizens the numbers about the taxes and mill levy
rates during my term. This community has a bright future, even in these
bleak times, because the city and staff during my 8 years in office have
budgeted and saved wisely.
Everyone of my children have grown up here and gone through the schools,
from kindergarten through high school. We support all of our businesses
and school functions, the food pantry and community events. We have
become "De Soto". To attempt to tag us as "newcomers" is pretty weak. I
dare say I have been more involved in and for the city, school, churches
and businesses in De Soto over the last 8 years, and 8+ years before
that as planning commissioner, than my oppo
